Kids Bowl FREE All Summer!

March 30, 2025 by racheljk 4 Comments

Kid’s Bowl FREE ALL SUMMER!

The annual Kids Bowl Free Program offers kids (whose age does not exceed the limit set by the participating bowling center) the opportunity to bowl absolutely free throughout the entire summer – that’s a $200+ value per kid!

This is a fun, cheap option to get you and your kiddos out of the house! The program is offered at over 1,500 bowling centers in the US and Canada, so there is a good chance you’ll have this program at a bowling alley near you!

Each child will snag coupons for two free games of bowling daily throughout the entire summer!

To register your kids, head over here and select a bowling center near you. Do not be discouraged if your location has not opened yet.

Note that registration openings will depend on your location. Make sure to enter your email to get notified if your location has not opened up just yet.

.

More ways to save!

The Kids Bowl Free program also offers a great deal for parents and older siblings! You can snag an optional Family Pass which allows up to four adults to bowl two free games right alongside the kids all summer long!

After you sign your child up to bowl for free, you will be directed to a page offering Family Passes – you do not need to purchase this for your child to bowl free as he or she has already been signed up (look at the very top of the page where it says congratulations). This is purely an option to get the rest of your family discounted bowling so you can play along with your child.

** You may be able to score 10% off your family pass with code WELCOME10 at checkout! I can’t confirm if it works so let me know!

Ghostly Manor Sandusky, Ohio ~ 8 Attractions All Under One Roof!

June 19, 2018 by racheljk Leave a Comment

Disclosure: My family was invited out to see all that Ghostly Manor offers. All attractions were free for review. Regardless, all opinions are my own.

Ghostly Manor Thrill Center ~ Sandusky, Ohio

Looking for some summer fun? Take the family to Ghostly Manor Thrill Center in Sandusky, Ohio. This family fun center has a ton to offer everyone in your family, from your youngest tike to your teens, even for you adults.

Ghostly Manor Thrill Center has been featured on The Travel Channel’s “Best Places I’ve Ever Been” series and recognized by FORBES magazine.  This indoor venue offers up a plethora of entertainment attractions and is located just 2 miles from the Roller Coaster Capital of the World, Cedar Point.

So what does Ghostly Manor have for your family? A little bit of everything! Try your skills in Wizard’s Journey indoor mini golf, your get some chills in the Ghostly Manor Haunted House. The XD 4D Motion Theater is fun or let your kids bounce to their delight in the bounce house! Seriously, there is so much to do that you could spend the whole day.  Best of all, you can pay individually for each activity or choose a money saving package deal.

As soon as we walked in, the kids ran straight to the 4D XD Theater.  This ride allows you to pick from five action-packed movie experiences from an under the sea adventure to a trip down a snowy, pine-covered mountainside.  Before the movie starts you are given 3D glasses and are belted into an oversized seat. This ride is so fun, you may want to ride a few times.

My middle son has been begging to try an Escape Room so I was really glad to see this new addition to Ghostly Manor. While we weren’t able to “escape” in the one hour time limit (hey, I was the only adult 😉 ), we had a lot of fun trying! Bring the whole family and try out the clues. Since everything can be moved around and searched it’s great for both young and old!

While I ordered lunch, my boys played on the indoor play area. This play area is HUGE and they had a blast. In fact, it was hard to get them to come down and eat. In addition to this area they also have inflatables in the back area where smaller kids can zoom down slides and bounce to their content.

Hungry? Ghostly Manor has you covered. I ordered chicken fingers, fries, a pretzel and boneless wings for us to share. I chose the spicy garlic and they were amazing! Seriously, I’ve been to wing places and this tops most of them. If you like spicy, these are a must try. The menu at Ghostly Manor has a lot of choices and it’s much more than the usual fare, so bring your appetite.

After lunch we played putt-putt on their indoor course. This interactive 3D course, was so fun. It was bright and even had some surprises along the way. Be sure to look around as there is a lot to see.

Another new attraction at Ghostly Manor was the Laser Maze. In this area you can test your skills and agility to see if you can make it to the top 10 leaderboard or race against time while maneuvering your way through hundreds of laser beams. My kiddos loved competing with each other to see who could get the highest score.

Relive your youth and skate around on the arena floor. That’s right, Ghostly Manor has skating too! In fact, they offer roller skates, inline skates and even scooters. You choose what’s most fun!

To end our day, we played some games in the arcade area. From action to claw machines, from skilled games to family fun, there are a lot to choose from.

One area we didn’t dare go into was the Ghostly Manor Haunted House. There was a school group in there that sounded like they were having a blast but I think we may need to wait a few more years for that spooky attraction.|

Ghostly Manor is open most days from noon – 10pm in the summer but hours can vary. Check out their schedule here. Prices can vary per attraction but you’ll save a bundle if you purchase a pass. They currently offer three

Thrill Pass – $25
Ghostly Manor Haunted House, Wizards Journey 3D Mini Golf, XD Motion Theater & Roller Skating

Junior Thrill Pass – $22
Bounce Houses**, Wizards Journey 3D Mini Golf, XD Motion Theater, Play Area** & Roller Skating

Jump, Climb & Skate Pass – $11
Bounce Houses**, Play Area** & Roller Skating

Even better, in the fall and winter months (when the kids are in school), every Wednesday from 4 – 8pm is Family Night! Family Fun Night is only $5.00/person and includes the Bounce Houses (12yrs & under/min.34″ tall), Play Area, and Skating with your choice of skates, roller blades, or a scooter. You also get two slices of pizza and a drink! What a crazy good deal!

If you are looking for some summer fun, be sure to check out Ghostly Manor in Sandusky, Ohio!

The city was buzzing last night! Not only was @shu The city was buzzing last night! Not only was @shuckedmusical at @playhousesquare but there was a @cleguardians game and a @cavs playoff game! What a gorgeous evening to enjoy our vibrant city! 🌽 After dinner, we saw @shuckedmusical musical and y’all… it was a-maize-ing! From the moment the curtain rose, I was all ears. The jokes were corny in the best way, the cast was pop-pin’, and the music? Straight up buttery smooth. Big shoutout to the writers for not husking around with the humor—this show shucks in all the right ways. I laughed, I teared up (maybe from the laughter), and I left the theater feeling like one happy kernel. Whether you're a theater buff or just stalk-ing a good time, go see Shucked. It’s a-maize-ing and I’m not ear-itating when I say that. #hosted #BroadwayCleveland #ShuckYeah #psqdistrict #ShuckedTour
[ad] Last night, we flew to Neverland! 🧚‍♀️🌟
My sister and I had the BEST time seeing @peterpanthemusical at @playhousesquare and it was pure magic from start to finish! The sets were stunning, the flying scenes were jaw-dropping, and the cast brought all the nostalgia and wonder to life in the most heartwarming way. 💫 From the moment Peter soared onto the stage, we were hooked (pun intended 😂). Captain Hook was delightfully dramatic, the Lost Boys were hilarious, and Tinker Bell? Totally stole the show. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, laughs, and just enough fairy dust to make you believe in magic again. 🏴‍☠️✨ 🎭 If you’re in Cleveland, don’t miss it — Peter Pan is only in town through April 13th at Playhouse Square! Grab your tickets and take the whole fam (or just treat yourself). We stayed at the @aurahoteltimessquare which is literally steps from Times Square, so we kicked things off with the bright lights and hustle of the city. First stop: the American Museum of Natural History @amnh. We spent HOURS there and STILL didn’t see everything – definitely need to go back! 🦖✨ We took a stroll through @centralparknyc on a chilly but sunny day and climbed to the top of the Belvedere Castle. 🏰 Then, we went to an incredible concert at @townhallnyc where the orchestra played music from one of my son’s favorite video games. 🎶 Bonus: He got to meet the Grammy award winning artist @crosenmusic who arranged the music. After the concert we grabbed dinner at a local Irish pub @thelongroomnyc and listened to live music. We even met some new friends from Brazil! We stayed out ‘til the wee hours chatting and having way too much fun!. I can’t wait to visit them soon in their part of the world. 🌍 Our last day included some sightseeing, delicious food, and a little shopping spree. The Nintendo and Lego stores are two must visit destinations if you have kids! One-on-one time with my boys is always the best. It's so fun seeing him as an adult and sharing in his interests.
